The team has tackled a series of key technical challenges in nano-patterning, including the methods for the generation of micro-/nanostructures, optimization of optomechanical system performance, in-flight exposure technology, digital light field data uploading and refreshing, real-time detection and processing of substrate morphology, 3D computational lithography process for complex patterns and micro-nano structures, and 3D lithography fabrication of microstructures on large non-planar substrates through network collaboration. iGrapher3000 large UV 3D direct writing photolithography equipment and key technology is the first of its kind to enable continuous surface type, microstructured large-area flat-panel devices on 110-inch glass substrates, the first to possess massive data processing capability and transform it into designed micro-/nanostructure morphology, and the first to support the thick photoresist process for 110-inch photoresist plate.
The team has developed an intelligent anti-counterfeit endorsement system applied to vehicle number plates, realized personalized laser endorsement with 3D dynamic image, and provided technical support for the pilot program and promotion of new energy vehicle number plates. The team has also overcome the challenges in 3D printing nanotechnology, defined the document format, advanced algorithms, and processing software for 3D images of micro-/nanostructures, and independently developed a laser 3D plate-making system that supports 3D images of micro-/nanostructures. They have broken the bottlenecks in the transfer process and material of micro-/nanostructures and established a zero-emission, roll-to-roll (R2R) micro/nano transfer printing batch production line, which provides a cutting-edge multi-dimensional (3D and dynamic) image design and controllable micro/nano manufacturing technology for the image engineering and printing industry.

The team members are all great talents in optics, mechanics, electronics, software development, engineering applications, and other fields. Long dedicated to the basic research, technological innovation, and R&D of flexible optoelectronics, we have accumulated extensive research and application experience and formed one of the few highly innovative and entrepreneurial teams in the field of micro and nano optics in China.
Boasting a national postdoctoral workstation and a Jiangsu provincial academician workstation, we have received honors such as the Excellent Team for Innovation in National Defense Technology, Innovation Team of Jiangsu Province, and gained support under the Jiangsu High-Level Innovation and Entrepreneurship Leaders Cultivation Program, and “333 High-level Talent Development Program” of Jiangsu Province. The team has undertaken or participated in many projects funded by national programs such as the 863 Program, National Major Instrument and Equipment Program, Major Research Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, National Program for International Science and Technology Cooperation, etc. The team members have published many papers in top journals, such as the International Journal of Optics, and have been invited to give oral presentations at international academic conferences many times.
