As a die hard Kiss fan- I am freaking out. Ace Frehley fans are all pretty excited for the release of Ace’s newest album Origins Vol. 1 for many reasons. Aside from it being a new album and cover album from the Space Ace himself, it contains a track featuring Paul Stanley- something that hasn’t happened in nearly 20 years. Stanley and Frehley pair up to cover “Fire and Water”, a song by Free that was released in 1970.
Lucky for us Rolling Stone has offered a premiere of the track, as well as some exclusive quotes from both Paul and Ace regarding how working together again was. Stanley mentions that despite all the constant back and forth in the media, they are “linked together forever” and that he would really like to see Ace succeed; and Ace stated a couple months back that him and Paul have always been friends and that “the press seems to amplify negativity”. By clicking here you can listen to “Fire and Water” and read all of the exclusive content given to Rolling Stone by Ace and Paul.
You’ll be able to find Origins Vol. 1 in stores tomorrow, April 15th, or you can order it online at Amazon here.
